For over a decade, I worked in the commercial games industry, making console and mobile titles.

I developed my craft in many discplines; programming, design, & product.

In 2019, I decided I wanted to make my own games, with my own values. Hopefully other people enjoy them, and will continue to be entertined by them, so I can continue practicing my craft in this way.

MECHANICS
LED

The interactions are what excites me about games as a medium. I want to make those interactions interesting. This might be the systems, it may be the controls, but second-to-second it will be the main interest.

Context and narrative give those mechanics weight and purpose, but the mechanics are the message.

UNIQUE EXPERIENCES

Games that are distinct from other games out there, but also have different experiences from person to person, and playthrough to playthrough.

Unique and novel gameplay experiences that emerge from the mechanics and systems.

 

FEEl-GOOD DYNAMICS

Motion and dynamics of interaction should feel good. A button press should be satisfying, moving forward should be more involved than holding W.

Kinaesthetics is the area that I care about, and want to invest time in making good.
